Mr. Daniel Pope remarked that it was a pleasure to gather for this admirable cause and expressed the wonder he felt for all the special children present.  Youth Icon Vilassini Sundar also added that she was awed by the discipline and athletic ability showcased by the athletes of Special Olympics, and that she would do everything in her capacity to keep athletes in the country informed about the SOIFC 2019.

The objectives of the event were to bring together differently-abled children in a green initiative as well as to raise awareness regarding the tournament, the SOIFC 2019, scheduled to happen for their cause between August 3rd to 6th at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai.
